داستان پروژه

In the heart of the dense and bustling fabric of central Tehran—where every inch of land comes at a high cost and nature struggles to breathe—an effort has been made to design a school as a vibrant, green garden; a place where bricks do not remain silent, and the spaces narrate the story of the connection between nature, education, and community.

Inspired by the Wisdom of Iranian-Islamic Architecture

In this design, much like traditional Iranian architecture, the courtyard is not confined to the ground level. Instead, through the creation of a vertical garden alley (“koocheh-bagh”), freshness and movement extend upward through the layers of the building. This semi-open connective space flows with light and greenery between floors, liberating students from the constraints of enclosed spaces.

A Garden Amidst Stone and Brick

The solids and voids of the structure are carefully designed to invite breeze, light, and shadow—key elements of nature—into the space. The openings in the volume not only reduce the rigidity of the building but also create a harmonious rhythm by spatially separating lower and upper secondary levels without overlap or disruption.

Community and Architecture in Dialogue

This school is more than just a place for learning—it is a platform for connecting families, community, and education. The entrance forecourts serve as welcoming spaces for parents, while the auditorium and sports hall offer opportunities for community engagement in the growth journey of children.

A Story of Sustainability and Climate Wisdom

The architectural details reflect a conscious response to the urban climate and a commitment to sustainability—from intelligent shading systems to the use of renewable energy and green spaces that resonate with the soul of the city and its people.

This vertical garden alley is not merely a school for nurturing thought, but a narrative of architectural wisdom rooted in Iranian heritage, and a renewed bond with nature and community—a space where every step tells a new story of learning, living, and growth.
